Drug abuse is common in the United States. Based on SAMHSA's National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 3.2% of the persons aged 12 or older who first used alcohol 13 to 24 months prior to the survey interview were dependent on alcohol in the past 12 months. Of the persons aged 12 or older who first used marijuana 13 to 24 months prior to the survey interview, 5.8% were dependent on marijuana in the past year.

Challenge:

Research performed in Dallas, TX, Solace’s hometown, revealed that the greater population was unaware of the existence of an upscale treatment and rehabilitative facility within their own community. Many people seeking counseling for addiction traveled cross-country for rehabilitative care, spending thousands more than necessary.

Solace’s voice was amplified through an innovative online campaign that allowed open communication between Solace, its employees, and the general public. With all staff members actively engaging in social media, Solace was able to reach out to clients and potential clients from Dallas and beyond, leading to a 469% in website visitors and an 88% increase appointments booked online.
